HOW TO SOURCE FOR A PEACEFUL MIND DURING BUSINESS STRUGGLES

A Peaceful mind worth a treasure because it energizes your entire life. Norman wrote, “The life of inner peace, being harmonious and without stress is the easiest type of existence. The chief struggle then in gaining mental peace is the effort of revamping your thinking to the relaxed attitude of acceptance of God’s gift of peace.

During daily struggles of a man at work, he is likely to face challenges that are able to change his state of mind. The mind can be filled with thoughts of guilt fear, worry, anxiety, regrets, insecurities, envy, and other forms of negative thoughts. To put into this trouble mind a peace that will energize you to carry-on to reaching your business goals, you need to see the following:

  1. You need to empty your mind by getting rid of all the rubbish thoughts that weighs you down. If thoughts of failing in your business are taking possession of your mind you need to cancel it by rejecting or disbelieving them and stop entertaining it in your mind.

  2. Remember emptying your mind is not enough but going the extra mile to fill your mind with constructive peaceful thoughts. Like, “it is well, I am a survivor and so on”. You can also say some audible peaceful words like T-R-A-N-Q-U-I-L-I-T-Y or S-E-R-E-N-I-T-Y; gently to your self and see the wonder it works.
  3. Avoiding conversations that can lead to nervous and tensed up atmosphere during your business negotiations. In conversation, try injecting peaceful words and have a peaceful attitude when talking to your clients or colleagues.
  4. When you feel this earthquake in your head on thinking of piles of files you need to work on, try moving to a more quiet atmosphere as this gives a peaceful rhythm for your thoughts. Like the quiet areas in your office, home or even taking a trip out to cool places like beach, park/resort centers, and so on.
  5. Observing some silence from time to time even if it is for 30 minutes daily is a good therapy to practice.

According to Star D. “No man or woman of my acquaintance who knows how to practice silence and does it has ever been sick to my knowledge. I have noticed what my own afflictions come upon me when I do not balance expressions with relaxation.”
